The Eagle has landed !! Gospel songbird Tsusie Ntsetho was over the moon as she took home the Best Music Video award at the 2023 edition of the Free State Gospel Music Awards that were held recently in Bloemfontein, Free State.
Tsusie has cemented her name in the Free State gospel music scene and South Africa. Her music is also blazing the airwaves of countries in Africa and Europe.
Tsusie’s music video for her song “Njengendluzela” enabled her to win the Best Music Video Award. Talking to Free State World, Tsusie explained that, receiving the nomination humbled her but being declared the winner was a cherry on top.
“Honestly, I never expected to walk away with the award considering a huge number of beautiful music videos done by other great gospel artists. I felt honoured, proud, and delighted to be voted the Winner of the Best Music Video of the Year 2023. Considering the hard work that producers, directors, and the whole team put in when one is shooting a music video, this award motivated me.” Tsusie added.
The award-winning gospel star further said the award is close to her heart as she was awarded at home. She has in the past received national and international nominations.
“Winning to me means recognition, I am doing far better than before and succeeding, and the award has motivated me to work harder. God has bestowed a gift in me to change lives and heal souls through music.” Said Tsusie with a smile.
