Botshabelo musician Tebogo Fokane, known by his stage name YaMtseng, is determined to make his mark in the music industry as he works tirelessly toward achieving mainstream success.
YaMtseng began his musical journey in his early 20s, drawing inspiration from the popular Afro pop duo Blaq Diamond. He describes his path as tough and rocky, filled with various challenges, yet he has persevered through both the pain and the joy of it all.
Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous local artists from Botshabelo, including Ayah Tlhanyane, DoctorNews SA, Cfikulture, and Sir-Kay SA, contributing to the vibrant music scene in the area.
With EPs such as Sekola 1 and Sekola 2 to his name, YaMtseng has continued to release singles and collaborate with fellow artists since their launch. His earlier work, Khohlo Lia Luma Volume 1, set the stage for his latest release.
The anticipated Khohlo Lia Luma Volume 2 was officially dropped on 29 June. YaMtseng proves that music is more than just a career for him; it runs in his blood, and his passion for it shines through. The new volume is now available on digital streaming platforms, ready for fans to enjoy.
