Sello Mokoena, a 23-year-old male, professionally known as Msolomba Prince, was born and raised in Sasolburg, Free State. He is a young, independent upcoming rapper, songwriter, and vocalist, bringing a new sound of Sesotho hip hop and Afro-pop. He is also versatile in other genres of music.
Msolomba Prince started pursuing music at the age of 13 after facing certain life challenges that led him to recognize his singing talent. Currently, he is an unsigned artist with a very creative mind, looking to take his music to the next level.
He released his first official project titled “International Ka Sesotho EP,” produced by 03 Lord, Cold Blooded Beatz, and Sthembiso Twala on August 13, 2022. This release opened new doors for him, leading to his first commercial TV interview on Daily Thetha SABC1.
He also had his first radio interview at a local radio station called Lekoa FM, followed by a second telephonic interview at Sedibeng FM. His song also secured the top position on the Thetha FM Kasi Flavour show.
Moreover, Msolomba has performed on many talent shows and shared the stage with successful artists such as K.O, Blaq Diamond, Ntate Stunna, Areece, 2 Point 1, DJ Finzo, Touchline Punchline, and many more. Notably, he was the only Sesotho artist from the Free State province to perform on Ushuni Womhlaba SABC1 on 7 July.
