Ficksburg-based clothing brand “Uptown Clothing Brand” has been nominated in the 2024 edition of the Mzantsi Arts and Media Awards.
The clothing brand is owned by Teboho Ntsala from Meqheleng in Ficksburg, Free State, and has been nominated for the “Best Brand Clothing”.
Ntsala said the nomination means a lot to him and is a testament that his brand is growing by leaps and bounds. Entrepreneurs, DJ Sbu, and Drip sneaker owner Lekau Sehoana inspire him.
Ntsala sells T-shirts, Hoodies, Bucket Hats, Caps, Plastic Cups, Sweaters, and Long sleeves. His vision is to promote talent, education, modeling, and business in his hometown.
Up Town Clothing was established in October 2019 and gained widespread recognition and admiration from the community of Meqheleng. Despite facing challenges like limited capital that will enable him to produce in bulk, Ntsala is still working hard to grow his business and attain his dream of expanding globally.
