Live@BFN Media and Entertainment House held its first annual Kids Corner Appreciation Awards on Friday, 24 April, held at the Bon Hotel in Bloemfontein.
The awards were dedicated to appreciating people who contributed to the Kids Corner show. Kids’ Corner is a show dedicated to teaching, uplifting, and encouraging future young leaders.
Blyth Pudumo from Live@BFN said they started with documenting their history in Bloemfontein, which is branching out to South Africa as a whole.
He said there was no particular reason why they started with history, but as they started to explore, it got its meaning because for them to know where they are heading, they need to know where they come from.
The award recipients were as follows:
Twin Mosia: Most influential
Shuping Molale: Sesotho home language influencers
Thapelo Monoane: video of the year
Pulane Mashiyi: Most streamed
Mathuto Adoro: Special award
Dané Swanepoel: Special award
Zwelinzima Msibi: Special award
Blyth Pudumo: Best director and producer.
