PalesaEntle Beauty Spa recently held a certification ceremony for six trainees who completed training in nails and makeup, liposuction, and other beauty-related skills.

The ceremony took place at the beauty spa located in Zone 2, Thaba Nchu. Palesa Isaacs, the owner of the beauty spa, expressed her concern about the high unemployment rate in the country and emphasized the importance of giving back to the community. She aimed to equip the trainees with nail and makeup skills, enabling them to create jobs for themselves.

Isaacs mentioned that with the skills the trainees acquired, they would be able to establish their own small businesses. This would not only provide them with an income but also allow them to hire others as their businesses grow, thereby helping to combat unemployment in their communities.

Some of the trainees recently completed their matric, and according to Palesa, the skills they learned will help them earn an income that they can use to support their families or save for further education. Palesa encouraged the trainees to represent the Beauty Spa with pride and reminded them of the importance of respecting customers, emphasizing that “the customer is always right.”

She commended them for their dedication, passion, and commitment throughout their training. The completion of the program was a significant milestone for the trainees, as they are now equipped with skills that can help them become financially sustainable.

The celebration concluded with a delightful braai and expressions of joy from all present.
