After a quiet season away from music, Botshabelo-born artist Skuvie has announced his official return to the music industry with a brand new EP titled “Indlela & Umkhuleko (3Step).”
Raised and inspired by the streets of Botshabelo, Skuvie describes this project as a love letter to his hometown. “Botshabelo made me. Everything I went through in this kasi is in this music. Indlela is about our journey as young people from Botshabelo – the struggle is real but so is the dream. Umkhuleko is my prayer for all of us – for protection, for success, for God to keep us. I left to find myself, now I’m back to make Botshabelo proud.”
The 2-track 3Step EP is soulful, spiritual, and perfect for both prayer and groove. It’s for everyone in 9781, the whole of Botshabelo, who never stopped believing. Skuvie promises this is just the beginning; new visuals, new music, and community performances are coming.
