UDCP members aim for growth

United Christian Democracy Party members gathered in Zone 3 in Thaba Nchu on Saturday 7 September where they held a fundraising event.

The party is on a mission to resurrect its name and restore it to its former glory while attracting new members. The party has six branches in Thaba Nchu.

The Party, known for its leader and founder Kgosi Lucas Mangope, has active branches in Thaba Nchu. Its members aim to work hard to restore its former glory.

Martha Sehume, a member of the party said that even though the party had been quiet for some time, they decided to reunite as members of the party in Thaba Nchu, and as staunch supporters of the party, they want to see it grow.

Nenki Mogorosi, the Chairperson of the party in Thaba Nchu said they meet twice a month and they have members in North West and want to see the party growing from strength to strength and attracting more young people to join.

“Today we are raising funds for our trip to Mahikeng and the money raised will help in paying for transportation. We want our party to be active and alive like it was in the past.” Said Mogorosi.
