Uncle-R
Uncle-R (Romario Smith) is a prominent deep and soulful house music producer, DJ, and sound engineer from Heidedal, Bloemfontein. He is widely known for his chart-topping hit single “Spirit,” which dominated commercial radio charts across South Africa, including numerous SABC radio stations.
Uncle-R has released his new single titled “Your Man”. On the project he has worked with Amapiano Pioneer DJ Stokie and Polish based vocalist Rona Ray.
“This is my biggest collaboration by far. It’s a special record, a dream come true to work with people who made me fall in love with house music,” said Smith.
What makes this single release more special is that he released it under his own newly established record label, Prolific Ent.
The song is already gaining traction on major streaming platforms with fans already drawn to the melodic chords and Ethereal Beats.
Uncle-R has previously released with the Legendary Soul Candi records. In September 2025 he was chosen as a co-producer for a super group of six (6) artists who went to represent South Africa in a music competition that was held in Russia, competing with countries all over the globe.
Growing steadily as an artist deeply rooted in his work has made Uncle-R perform outside the borders of the country and in Europe.
