In a startling turn of events that occured in the morning of 15 January, a residence in Mamotlhakoana Street in Phahameng, Bloemfontein witnessed a wall collapse, resulting in a significant property damage.
However, the day was not without heroes, as quick-thinking workers from War on Waste swiftly arrived at the scene to help. Their rapid response played a crucial role in clearing debris, containing further destruction, and ensuring safety.
Homeowner Daniella Shereen Douw expressed her gratitude for the intervention of the workers. “I was pleased to see them assisting. Their prompt response undoubtedly mitigated the severity of the situation,” she remarked.
