Non-profit organisation Mpho ya Sechaba brought relief and encouragement to residents of Caleb Motshabi on Sunday by donating clothes, shoes, and handbags to members of the community. The outreach programme was held at the Apostolic Faith Temple and was carried out in partnership with Kgolagano FM.
Community members gathered in numbers to receive the donations, which were aimed at supporting vulnerable families and restoring dignity. The initiative forms part of Mpho ya Sechaba’s ongoing efforts to respond to social needs through acts of kindness and practical support.
Masego Matekane from Mpho ya Sechaba said the organisation was inspired by biblical teachings to serve the community.

“As Matthew 25:35 says, ‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. We are living out Jesus’ teachings by showing love and compassion to the people of Caleb Motshabi,” she said.
Residents welcomed the initiative, praising the organisation and its partners for making a meaningful difference in the area. Mpho ya Sechaba said it remains committed to uplifting communities in and around Bloemfontein through continued outreach programmes.
