Based in Bluegumbosch, Qwaqwa, Destroyer Academy is a Non-Profit Organisation focused on Education, Agriculture, Sports, Arts, and Social Development.

Established in 2022 in response to the growing need for youth rehabilitation through sports, the academy was founded by Tsheisi Ronald, Kgotsofetse Jonas, Dlamini Sello, and others committed to eradicating the mentality of poverty and fostering a better future.

The mission of Destroyer Academy is to empower communities through holistic development by providing essential skills.

They focus on education by offering extra classes to learners from grades 1 to 11, promoting food security, and fostering social upliftment.

The academy envisions a self-sustaining community where individuals have access to quality education, resources, and opportunities. Aiming to extend its reach, the organization plans to develop branches that will also help the community become more tech-savvy.

Programs within the organization include extra classes for grade 7 students held at Tharollo Combined School, hygiene and discipline workshops where students’ school shoes are polished while they await transportation, as well as initiatives in agriculture, sports development, and entertainment.

“Our main objectives as an NPO are to be the best solutions and bring impact by supporting the township economy through hiring more than 100 unemployed youth across the country, providing opportunities for growth, empowering individuals and communities, and developing practical skills through various initiatives,” said one of the co-founders.
