Elite Tutoring, based in Senekal, Senekal, was founded by 23 year old entrepreneur, Thabo Nicolas Sikosana in 2025 with a mission to close the educational gap left by overcrowded classrooms and lack of personalized attention and improve academic performance within the community.
The tutoring initiative was officially registered as a (Pty) Ltd on 1 July 2025, marking an important milestone in its journey toward becoming a structured and professional educational support service.
Since its establishment, Elite Tutoring has focused on providing affordable academic assistance to learners from various grade levels.
The organization currently offers a registration fee of R30, a monthly tuition fee of R100, and private tutoring sessions at R200, available both online and in person. These accessible fees aim to ensure that quality educational support remains available to as many learners as possible.
In its first year of operation, Elite Tutoring achieved a remarkable milestone. Out of 40 learners enrolled, the program recorded an overall pass rate of 97.5%, with only one learner not progressing to the next grade.
This achievement reflects the dedication of both tutors and learners, as well as the effectiveness of the academic support provided.
As the organization continues to grow, Elite Tutoring has already begun creating employment opportunities for young people. The program has successfully hired one tutor who currently works with Grade 1–3 learners, focusing on building strong academic foundations at an early stage.
The organization aims to expand its team and create more job opportunities for youth before July 2026.
eyond academic support, Elite Tutoring also promotes educational development through learning experiences outside the classroom. The program organizes educational trips and is currently planning to host a three-day educational camp for learners in September 2026, aimed at combining learning, leadership development, and personal growth.
With a strong start and a clear vision for the future, Elite Tutoring continues to position itself as a growing educational initiative committed to empowering learners, supporting families, and strengthening education in the Senekal community.
