Content Creation is more than just sharing videos to entertain people and amass likes and following in return. When utilized correctly, content creation can create a decent living for the content creator.
Content creator, content advisor, vlogger, and content producer Teboho Masakala from Thaba Nchu will host the “Business of Content Creation Workshop” which will be held on Saturday, 19 October in Thaba Nchu.
The workshop will capacitate budding and active content creators with the knowledge to succeed in content creation and how they can build a sustainable income while becoming professional content creators.
The workshop will focus on topics such as Monetising content, Social Media and Content, various platforms to monetize content, finding your own market, how to market content, partnering with brands, and marketing content.

With the world moving swiftly in the digital direction, South Africa should not be left behind and should keep up with the times.
“Content creation can create jobs and change lives. Podcast and Chill, Mr Beast, The Joe Budden Podcast, and others have proven that you can grow and hire full-time employees. I will be sharing tools and ways in which content creators can grow and more about content creation,” said Masakala.
He further stated that content creation is not just about taking a smartphone or digital camera and making videos, but there is an art of doing it and the business side of it which leads to partnering with brands, and retailers and influencing.
The workshop entry is R100 and will be held at Society Hall in Zone 2, in Thaba Nchu. It starts at 11am until 13:30. Some of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the DJ Zondi Charity Foundation.
