Lefu “Pascal” Moloi has shown that with hard work and dedication, the sky truly isn’t the limit. At the National Community Radio Awards held on 15 August, his Current Affairs show “Ditswa Kotleng” was honored with the title of “Best Current Affairs Show,” solidifying its status as the top community radio current affairs program.
Pascal’s radio journey began in 2021 at Botshabelo FM, an online station where he honed his skills until 2023. He then moved to CUT FM for a brief period before joining Mosupatsela FM on 16 April.

Reflecting on the moment his show’s name was announced as the winner, Pascal admitted he felt surreal.
“I felt like I was dreaming. I was on my phone, I had to hang up immediately and jumped from my seat to get to the stage,” he said, still in disbelief.
What he loves most about “Ditswa Kotleng” is its focus on keeping him informed about the country’s happenings. The show prioritizes local content, staying connected to the developments around them. The dedicated team behind the show includes Nthabiseng Lebotho, Lefa Teele, Lucky Koalepe, Dimakatso Mabaleha, Nkoli Mabitso, and Mpho Rakhosi, all of whom contribute significantly to its success.

“Ditswa Kotleng” airs Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 19:00. Pascal draws inspiration from media colleagues like Tshediso Mahloane and Rabosana Roger Madiehe.
For those aspiring to enter the radio industry, Pascal emphasizes the importance of self-confidence.
“Be willing to take risks and make sacrifices for what you believe in. Never give up, push, and keep yourself updated with burning issues across the country,” he advises budding current affairs presenters.
