Twenty-one-year-old Gosiame “Lungile” Kotsi from Thaba Nchu in the Free State is dedicated to uplifting young models and showcasing their talents.
Lungile is the founder of Lungile’s Beauty Brigade, where she employs a unique approach that combines fashion and sustainability. She breathes new life into old clothes, transforming them into stunning outfits.
Lungile’s Beauty Brigade celebrates individuality, promotes self-love, and empowers young girls to pursue their dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem.
Lungile emphasizes her vision of becoming a motivational figure for the youth, showing that success is achievable regardless of age or background. Her goal is to put her hometown of Thaba Nchu on the map.
“As a young girl, I had big dreams. I wanted to become a model and was passionate about beauty and fashion. I wanted to use my platform to inspire others. However, as I grew older, I realized that the industry wasn’t always kind to young girls like me. I faced rejection, self-doubt, and pressure to conform to unrealistic standards,” Lungile said.
Despite the challenges she encountered, Lungile never gave up on her dreams and continues to work hard to turn them into reality.
