Two and a half years after Bloemfontein Celtic was sold and rebranded as Royal AM, the unwavering loyalty of their supporters continues to be a beacon of hope in the Free State. This was on full display at the recent Nedbank Cup clash between D’General FC and TS Galaxy, where a passionate contingent of fans donned their Bloemfontein Celtic colours, cheering on their new heroes.

Despite the final score ending in a disappointing 3-0 defeat for D’General, the fans’ spirit remained unyielding. Their iconic chants and unwavering support echoed throughout the stadium, a testament to their enduring love for the beautiful game.

This unwavering devotion hasn’t gone unnoticed by D’General FC owner, Ba2cada. In a heartwarming gesture, Ba2cada announced plans to host a “Thank You, Free State” event – a free celebration to acknowledge the Bloemfontein faithful for propelling his club to national recognition.

“We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support we’ve received from the Bloemfontein community,” Ba2cada said. “Their passion has been instrumental in turning D’General FC into one of the most recognizable football brands in the country.”
