Lesedi Khatoane, a six-year-old from Bedelia, Welkom in the Free State, was set to participate in an international pageant in Europe. However, her participation in the Little Miss Universe 2025 and Little Miss World 2025 pageants has been temporarily postponed to October 2025.
Originally scheduled to take place from May 5 to May 15, the event will now occur in October, and Lesedi needs financial support to make the trip to Turkey, where the pageants will be held. To cover expenses such as flight tickets, accommodation, competition entry fees, transportation in Turkey, international medical and travel insurance, visas, and various pageant outfits, Lesedi requires R120,000.
So far, she has managed to raise R68000, and her mother, Seipati, is appealing to sponsors to help raise the remaining amount.
