Kgolo ya Dingaka Development Forum, a non-profit organization of Traditional Healers, will officially launch on 6 December in Thaba Nchu, Free State. The forum, which was established in 2022, is based in Thaba Nchu.
The Chairperson of the Kgolo Ya Dingaka Development Forum, Oamogetswe Phepeng, stated that the forum was formed to ensure independent economic growth amongst traditional healers and their families.
“We arrange necessary training such as basic health care, palliative care, TB, Cancer, Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, and DESTEA, and we work with university professional trainers. The are certificates of participation at the end of every course or training.” Said Phepeng.
The forum partners with government departments in order for them to help wherever they can in making communities better and gathering more knowledge.
The forum further assists its members on issues of compliance, to better understand Western and traditional methods with a focus on the growth and development of skills in communities.
By equipping its members with tools to utilize for growth, the forum changes how they see things in terms of improving and being able to practically apply what they have been taught.
The launch of the forum will be held at Selosesha Library hall in Thaba Nchu and starts at 10:30. For more info contact Motlalepula at 0676444618.
