Botshabelo Hip Hop star Zweli “MC Fire” Mphumele is shining brightly with his latest release. On Friday, 8 November, MC Fire unveiled his repackaged and remastered hit “Ha le Bokwe.”
Featuring the talented gospel singer Teboho Moruti, this song was initially dropped under MC Fire’s 9781 label. However, after winning a recording contract from Free State Music Association, he signed with Gallo Records, which recognized the song’s potential for a wider audience.
Gallo Records was captivated by MC Fire’s catalog and singled out “Ha le Bokwe” as a must-hear track that deserves to make waves across South Africa. The revamped song includes new elements, featuring live instruments and standout production by Talkzig Sibiya.

MC Fire’s uplifting verses resonate with those seeking hope during tough times, while Teboho Moruti delivers an outstanding performance, making them a perfect pair for this track. Their collaboration has resulted in a timeless masterpiece that praises God for their blessings.
The song is now available on all digital platforms, and plans are in the works for a music video. MC Fire is on a media tour to promote his new single.
“MC Fire is officially under Gallo Records. The song is accessible on all digital platforms. I want to extend my gratitude to Free State Music Association for the opportunity to join Gallo. Mzwakhe Kachela and Ayanda Roda have transformed my life and are doing a great deal for Free State artists,” MC Fire expressed.
