He recently released his latest single titled “Nthwena ke AI,” inspired by an amusing incident involving a friend’s girlfriend, who sent an AI-filtered picture to enhance her beauty. This moment not only made them laugh but also sparked the inspiration for his song.
Kaymow has been navigating the music scene for quite some time and, despite feeling unnoticed for a while, remains passionately devoted to his craft. He shared that his love for music ignited during his high school years, when he was recognized by his classmates, even though he initially didn’t see the potential in his talent.
“I adore rap music, and I found myself deeply sinking into kasi rap,” he mentioned, adding that growing up on the streets allowed him to observe life’s challenges without getting lost in darkness.
Through his music, Kaymow narrates his personal experiences and the struggles faced by young people, believing that he can inspire positive change. Music is not just a hobby for him; it’s his life and his primary pursuit. He holds great pride in incorporating his mother tongue into his tracks, stating, “I feel that mother tongue is the easiest way to motivate and educate people.”
