Katlego Calculus Mzamo is a passionate visual artist dedicated to bringing his artworks to life while mesmerizing his audience.

He attended the Reamohetse Articon School in Botshabelo and is currently studying art at the Central University of Technology.

Unlike many artists who have various motivations for their craft, Katlego has always been fascinated by people’s faces, the stories they tell, and the emotions they carry. Growing up, he often lost himself in drawing faces, striving to capture not just how people looked, but who they truly are.

The connection between art and human experience is what continues to inspire him each time he picks up a pencil or brush.

“My love for art began to develop when I discovered the powerful impact of studying someone’s face, their expressions, and the unique details that make them who they are,” Katlego said.

It takes him about 3 to 4 days to complete an artwork, though more complex pieces can require additional time to perfect. He charges between R100 and R2500 for his work, depending on the size and level of detail required.
