The 2024 edition of Lemo Fest is coming back bigger and better. This was revealed during the launch held at the Lemo Mall Green Park in Bloemfontein, Free State on Thursday 27 June.

The second edition of the festival has a packed line up and shows with the biggest names set to descend to the city of Roses for days filled with fun and entertainment.

The likes of Lebo Segobela, Ntate Stunna, Mafikizolo, Sjava and more are set to entertain fun lovers.

The festival will catapult and cast a spotlight on the Free State and Bloemfontein as it aims to be an ongoing festival that will bring multitudes of people to the city of Roses.

Local designers are set to showcase their work during the Qoai Fashion Show and the festival organizers are working with SEDA in this regard. An SMME workshop will be held on 2-4 September to capacitate designers with information and skills to enable them to grow in the field of their expertise.

Freddie Kenney from the Kenworth Group organizing the festival said this year they are going bigger and better and are constructing a permanent state of the art structure that will host the festival and other major events.

Construction is currently ongoing and expected to be completed in time for the festival and expected to house 7000 people.

Security is top agenda this year and organisers are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that patrons are safe and protected.

The shows are scheduled as follows:
SMME Workshop (2-4 September)
Qoai Fashion Show (6 September)
Afro Globe (5 October)
Gospel Experience (6 October)
Lovers and Friends (11 October)
Gin and Jazz (12 October)

Tickets are available on Webticks.
