Kagisho Kolwane from Thaba Nchu has published a children’s book titled “Mantsopa ke Kwena.”
This illustrated children’s book, written in Setswana, tells the story of Mantsopa, the rain queen. It is also available in English and Sesotho. In addition to being an author, Kagisho Kolwane is a poet, scriptwriter, and theatre director.
In discussing her book, the author expressed her desire for young children to recognize powerful black superheroes from whom they can learn.
The book is priced at R150 per copy.
