Ntombi Matsoake from Kroonstad in the Free State is looking to make the Free State proud and return home as the Face of the “Queen with a Purpose” pageant.
The plus-size model is a semi-finalist in the Gauteng-based pageant founded by Thembi Maisela. She has also participated in plus-size pageants and is an advocate for plus-size people.
“I advocate for plus-size people. I want our communities to stop looking at plus-size ladies as people with no ambition or having the will to live and all other misconceptions about them. I would be happy to see plus-size ladies joining modeling, sports, and any other activities that can help them with their confidence. I want to be the voice for the voiceless.” Said Ntombi.
