Being behind the mic has always been one of her ambitions. Today, Masego Moikangoa, also known as Queen Cgows, entertains, informs, and educates her legion of followers on Thaba Nchu-based Kgolagano FM.
Masego hosts “Sedibeng” on Kgolagano FM from 9 am to 12 pm on Sundays. Her love for radio stems from an early age as she used to listen to it with her mother while growing up.
She says she used to mimic on-air presenters of a local radio station, and the more she did, the deeper she fell in love with the radio world.

Talking about her inspiration for being behind the mic, Masego reiterated that the love of music and disseminating information made her be inspired and continues to play a Titanic role in her radio career.
Before doing her show, Masego prepares six days in advance (Monday-Saturday) by reading the Holy Bible and looks for words to comfort and emotionally uplift her listeners.

“My radio idol is Sibongile Sonopo from Lesedi FM, she is vibrant and able to motivate the young and old. She brings it all out and is such a bubbly person,” said Masego.
The Sedibeng show entails motivation, inviting pastors, gospel music, scripture reading, and engagement with listeners where they call in and have their favourite songs played.
“I would like to thank God Almighty, my mother for all the support that she gives me and her words of encouragement. I also like to thank my followers and fans of Kgolagano FM, their love is amazing,” said Masego.
Tune in to Kgolagano FM to listen to her.
