Qwaqwa-based author Teboho E. Mbele has finally published his debut book. The book comes years after the author co-authored poetry books with other Qwaqwa writers.
Mbele’s book “Unspoken Words” is an anthology of poems that he penned from age 16. He used poetry to express himself as he found himself most of the time being alone and pen and paper were his only tools for expression.
The journey to publishing the book was not an easy one for Mbele as he battled with anxiety a lot, wondering what the future holds for him. But over time, he managed to conquer his fears and once again the pen became his friend.
Writing is therapeutic for Mbele as he used it to find healing. He aims to pen more books. Unspoken Words costs R150 per copy and is available from Mbele by calling him at 0738631992.
