The was joy and jubilation at the Weslayn Church in Zone 5 Thaba Nchu on Sunday 17 December as the church held its first Pastor’s appreciation day.

Appreciation events/days are held during December by various churches across South Africa to appreciate their leaders and Pastors.

The Pastor’s Appreciation Day was held to acknowledge and appreciate the Pastor of the church and to shower him with gifts and words of acknowledgment. Guests, Pastors, visitors, and a Bishop formed part of the celebration.

The Weslayn Reverend Katiso Nkhoesa and his wife were showered with gifts and the church showed their gratitude for the man of the cloth and his wife, appreciating the role they play in feeding members spiritually and physically while also ensuring they pray for them continuously.

Reverend Nkhoesa and his wife thanked the church for their love and for keeping them in their prayers. The celebration was followed by a feast, networking, and a photo opportunity by members as they mingled, shared jokes, and relaxed.
