Known for her outstanding performances and Theatre Productions, Segametsi Mogoera, a talented lass from Thaba Nchu in the Free State is cementing her name in the theatre industry.
She got exposed to the theatre world in 2013 when she enrolled at City Varsity in Johannesburg where she studied Act for Camera. She is multi-talented and is also a Theatre producer, Writer, and Director.
Segametsi wrote, directed, and performed her first-ever one-woman show titled Coconut, soon after she graduated. In her journey thus far, She got to perform at some of the prominent Theatre stages in the country like Soweto Theatre, Joburg Theatre, Market Theatre, and Pacofs.
She also got an opportunity to do her training at prestigious academies which are Duma Ndlovu Academy and Indigo View Advanced Actors Academy, where she had a lot to learn and successfully finished her courses. In 2022, Segametsi Mogoera won an overall actor award at the international Arts showcase in Bloemfontein.
“I always say I don’t have much time in this world, the best that I can do is just to be myself.” Said Segametsi.
Segametsi has been featured in various radio stations and has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Fiona Ramsey, and Louise Saint Clare, including Muvhango and Skeem-Saam actors.
Segametsi Mogoera owns an Art Development Non-profit company.
