Kelebogile Moholo, from Welkom, renowned by her stage name of “The Brand”, is a rising star in the South African music scene.
Her musical journey began back in high school, under the mentorship of the late Bishop Manasse Letsoara. In 2018, she formally embarked on her musical career, hosting her first annual event, “1 Night with the King”. The event has grown tremendously over the years, with Kelebogile sharing the stage with gospel giants like Omega Khunou and Thina Zungu.

Kelebogile is set to share the stage with Sipho Ngwenya of Jeso Ufik’ekuseni fame, when she will be performing at Apostle Sandile Mabiza’s church in Kutlwanong, Odendaalsrus in the Free State on Sunday 7 January.
In addition to her musical career, Kelebogile has started her own company, “The Brand to the World”, which she hopes will open doors to many events. As an event organizer, she believes in creating opportunities for other artists, especially those who are just starting.
Last year, she hosted an event in Polokwane (Limpopo) and received an overwhelmingly positive response.
On 10 February, Kelebogile will be hosting a Worship extravaganza in Johannesburg (Gauteng), intending to showcase Free State’s talent to the world.
Despite her success, Kelebogile has faced financial challenges, struggling to secure sponsorships for her events. She is currently seeking financial assistance to support her events this year.
Kelebogile’s faith is deeply intertwined with her artistic expression. She believes that gospel music brings out the best emotions and expressions, and has the power to heal the soul.
However, she also recognizes the need for vigilance in the music industry and the importance of separating spirituality from the business side of things.
Her single “Halalelang”, released early last year, was inspired by a dream and a scripture from the Bible which says “Be Holy for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:15-16). The song earned her nominations at the Free State Gospel Music Awards for Best Single of the Year and Best Newcomer of the Year.
