On 6 June 2026, at the elegant Protea Hotel Midrand, Letshego Solomon-Motloung from Bloemfontein in the Free State proudly transitioned from Semi-Finalist to Official Finalist, joining an exceptional group of women preparing for the Grand Finale in November 2026.

The Mrs BOLD journey is about so much more than a crown. It is a transformational leadership experience designed to empower women to become visible changemakers within their communities. Throughout the competition, contestants participate in a variety of activities, campaigns, community service initiatives, leadership challenges, fundraising projects, and advocacy work that test not only their abilities, but also their commitment to making a meaningful impact.

What began with approximately 34 hopeful women from across South Africa, each proudly representing her province, has now been narrowed down to just 14 remarkable finalists. Fourteen women. Fourteen queens. Fourteen leaders and activists committed to creating positive change.

Mrs BOLD challenges the traditional perception of pageantry. It is not defined by physical beauty, aesthetics, or outward appearance. Instead, it celebrates purpose, resilience, discipline, compassion, and authenticity. Every challenge completed, every deadline met, every community initiative launched, and every relationship built contributes to a contestant’s growth and ultimately determines her success in the competition.

According to Letshego, one word continues to define ther remarkable journey: Readiness, saying one has to be Fully ready to embrace the journey.

“Readiness is the quality that separates those who simply participate from those who truly lead. It is demonstrated through consistency, professionalism, commitment, and the willingness to serve others. Contestants are expected to actively engage with their communities, build meaningful partnerships, inspire others, and represent the values of Mrs BOLD with excellence.” She remarked.

For Letshego ‘LetS’ Solomon-Motloung, becoming a finalist is not the destination—it is another step towards fulfilling a greater purpose. As an arts facilitator, community leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for youth development through the arts, literacy, and community empowerment, she embraces this platform as an opportunity to amplify her impact and inspire others to lead with courage and compassion.
