Nayshen SA (Benjamin Mokhethi) and Mignonnete (Kgantse Mignonnete Leshage) are two musicians who have demonstrated that music knows no boundaries, bridging the geographical gap between them.
Despite living in different locations, with Kgantse residing in Klerksdorp, North West, and Nayshen SA in Bloemfontein, the two connected through Facebook.
Nayshen discovered Kgantse’s impressive vocals in a Facebook duet and was inspired to collaborate with her. Kgantse is known for her versatility as a vocalist, with the ability to adapt to various musical genres and excel vocally.
According to her, Nayshen SA, an award-winning producer, has been instrumental in challenging her creatively, encouraging her to explore new dimensions in her musical expression. Their collaboration has resulted in a song that will be featured in Nayshen SA’s upcoming EP.
“He is creative and pushes one to think out of the box in terms of creativity and putting together a great sound that will resonate with people. He encourages me to do good and that is important and builds confidence.” Kgantse said.
Furthermore, both artists are looking forward to working on more joint projects in the future.
