A 17-year-old karate athlete named Thato Mekgwe from Thaba Nchu in the Free State has been selected to represent South Africa in the UFAK Region Souths Championship in Namibia from 19-23 June 2024.
However, Thato needs financial assistance to make it to Namibia. The trip has two package options costing R19,530.00 and R16,910.00 respectively, which include accommodation, flight tickets, and travel insurance.
