Makgotso Ramakatsa, a 22-year-old from Botshabelo in the Free State, aims to provide warm clothing to underprivileged children this winter.
She is the founder of Lesedi Youth Development Centre, a non-profit organization that aims to provide community services, donate food and clothes, promote participation in sports, arts and culture, and assist children with their homework.
To achieve her goal, Makgotso will be hosting a fundraising event called “Buy Winter Clothes For Children.” The event, which will be held on 1 June 2024, will feature a raffle with prizes to be won, and all proceeds will go towards purchasing clothes for less fortunate children.
