Being behind the mic has always been what Taole Zakaria Sentimile desired since a young age. Loxion Sentimile as he is known, is a seasoned radio presenter who worked with a handful of community radio stations.

He is currently the host of the Tsoga Le Rona Morning Drive Show at Kgolagano FM, a Thaba Nchu-based online community radio station. The show airs during weekdays and on Sunday, he also hosts the Setlhoweng Gospel Show from 06:00 to 09-00.

The radio bug bit Loxion way back during the time of Thabang Rampowane, Lucky Qacha and Thuso Motaung. He is also a former presenter of the now-defunct Naledi FM which was based in Senekal. Naledi FM was his university as that’s where he learnt a lot about radio from colleagues and the management.

For Loxion, being on radio was not only for the love of it but to educate and inform listeners, his love for working with people makes his work easier.

“Before I go on air, I always prepare, I pray and do my research. For my Sunday gospel show, I try to get as much information as possible to uplift listeners with music before they go to church” Loxion said.

He regards Thuso Motaung as his idol. Loxion is also the Programmes Manager of Kgolagano FM which also has a frequency which is 102.MHZ. He joined the station as a presenter but the Station Manager promoted him to his current position of being a Programmes Manager.

“As a programmes Manager, I make sure I do things needed for radio to thrive such as schedules of the shows and presenters. I try my level best as I believe that one day the station will be amongst the best in Free State.” Said Loxion.
