Lephola Secondary School’s soccer and netball teams have demonstrated their exceptional skills by conquering the recent Netball and Soccer tournaments.
The teams showcased their talent at tournaments hosted by St. Dominic’s College and Unitas High School, where both squads excelled, earning their hard-won trophies.
The Under 17 and 19 netball teams performed admirably, with the Under 17 squad competing in four games while the Under 19 played five. Their remarkable efforts led them to secure the top position, walking away with trophies, bags, and water bottles.
Additionally, the school participated in a charity competition held at Thotagauta Secondary School in Thabong, Welkom, where they further showcased their prowess by achieving first place in both soccer and netball.
Recognizing individual excellence, Phatela Lehlohonolo was honored as the Player of the Day for soccer, while Kamohelo Botipe was celebrated as the Coach of the Day for soccer. In netball, Relebohile Mokhehle received awards for Best Player of the Day and Best Centre. Fanelwa Siyanganto was recognized as the Best Goal Attacker, and Khatoane earned the title of Best Coach of the Day for netball.
This series of accomplishments highlights the talent and determination of Lephola Secondary School students and sets a promising tone for future competitions.
