Royal Family Cathedral Church (RFC) hosted a province‑wide GBVF Awareness March on Sunday, 23 November 2025, starting at Hoffman Square in the Bloemfontein CBD and concluding at RFC (9 Levy Street). The initiative brought together congregations, community members, and civil society partners to advocate for safer homes, streets, and institutions.
The march was convened under the leadership of Dr Masekwane Masekwane and Prophetess Princess Masekwane, in collaboration with Mme Sisi Ntombela of the Sefora Foundation. The mobilisation received strong support from Ntate Thuso Motaung and former MEC for Health, Mme Montseng Tsiu, signaling a united, community‑centred response to GBVF.

Along the route, participants displayed clear messages calling for accountability, prevention, survivor support, and justice. The closing program at RFC reinforced the call for sustained partnership between faith communities, civil society, local stakeholders, and the public sector to strengthen prevention and response efforts.
